Difference Between Bad Motherboard Or Cpu
There are several differences between a motherboard and a CPU. Motherboard is a complex set of circuits and gives the computers instructions on what to do constantly. The motherboard is delicately and is located in the interior of the computer. It also supports other devices like the Random Access Memory (RAM), and sound and video cards. |
The motherboard is a card shaped device and other cards like sound, video and game controllers and also the memory are installed into it. It comes with slots for such cards. The motherboard controls all the devices installed in your computer. The circuits are excessively delicate and need to b protected.
CPU means the central power unit and the computer derives the power to function from the CPU unit. Even to start the computer initially the CPU needs to power up the system. The motherboard is also powered up because of the CPU. Every single component of the computer is dependent on the CPU. When the CPU burns out suddenly or breaks down, there is danger to the other components, including the motherboard. That is why the computer has to be connected to a UPS so that there is back up power as storage for the motherboard and other components.
When either of the components, the CPU or the motherboard, is of poor quality the computer will not function well eventually. You may find it slow and is unable to process applications efficiently. When this happens, a computer expert will always recommend that you change the motherboard.
