When the CPU is not a very efficient one, it always tells on the way the computer performs. When the computer is not getting enough power to perform the tasks and is taking too long, then you should know that the CPU is bad. It is time you upgrade it.

So, if you have a very old computer with an old CPU, then it may not do a very good job of supporting the applications installed on the computer.

By upgrading the CPU you can make your computer faster and also do several more things with it. A computer needs constant upgrading in terms of memory, hard disk. However, the CPU and motherboard are made to last longer. The general theory is that at least once in five years you need to upgrade the CPU and the motherboard because the technology gets outdated.
