However, the keyboard is also a delicate piece of equipment just like your computer and needs regular cleaning. It has several gaps that can gather dust frequently and over a period of time the keys will get tuck if you do not clean it. Also, the dust will cause the keys to be blocked and the computer cannot identify them. Some people have food at their computer table and also invariably drop food on it. So, it needs maintenance and cleaning on a regular basis.
Because of the several gaps that the keyboard has, you should use a good brush which can get into nooks and corners. You can use a spray based cleaning solution, or just a damp clothe to clean. However, remember that the keyboard can be cleaned only from the exterior. You cannot open it up and do the internal cleaning yourself. You may damage smaller components and, therefore, it is best that it is untouched on the interiors. There are some good spray based solutions available for cleaning the keyboard. These sprays will collect the duct and you can simply clear it with the help of a toothbrush or a woman’s make up brush.
